Politicians - what were they thinking?

So, it has come to pass that many politicians have been found to be demonstrably greedy.
Not only have they buried their collective snouts in the Public Purse, they now have the temerity to say, "Fair cop, guv - but hey, it was within the rules!" - Oh yes, and guess who makes the rules!?

Now if this was you or me who got caught doing this, perhaps claiming some benefit that we were not entitled to, we would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law - but these greedy, venal, morally bankrupt public servants do not even have the guts to admit it was morally indefensible, they are avoiding any acknowledgement that they did the wrong thing.

From now on, at any election folks, I urge you to vote for any Independent candidate that is standing. In fact, lets resurrect the Monster Raving Loony Party and vote it into power - they could hardly do any worse than the current (or previous) shower of misbegotten, morally bereft, unprincipled low-lifes.

Hit them where it hurts - vote them out.
